The Black Rose designs intricate, romantic, floral arrangements that have just the right touch of edge and whimsy. Our style is for the client who is chic and untraditional. We pride ourselves on impeccable attention to detail and designing events that run flawlessly.

The Black Rose was founded in 2015 by native Angeleno Rachel Nina Schwartz. After a decade working in fashion design, shifting her focus to the floral industry was both a welcome respite and a natural career progression.

Rachel is inspired by the infinite natural beauty of the materials she sources, and by her knowledge of design and art history. We use only premium flowers, local whenever possible, and organic upon request.
The Black Rose creates floral arrangements and installations for weddings and parties, weekly residential and commercial clients, and a limited amount of individual orders for private delivery. Past and current clients include Veuve Clicquot, PopSugar, Rachel Zoe, WhoWhatWear and Babylist.
We are available for projects in the Los Angeles area, as well as travel.
